I love Valentine's Day! I think it is so much fun to give little gifts to my husband, even if he is a pain and always says he doesn't want or need anything. And it doesn't hurt that I normally receive flowers, chocolate, or a stuffed animal in return.
It seems that every year for Valentine's Day something is going on so we really don't get to spend it together. Last year, I interviewed for a job and Rob worked. The year before, I think he was gone for Valentine's Day. This year, it's no different. Rob has his big final the next day which means he will be studying in our bedroom all evening. Either way, however and whenever we get to celebrate, it's always nice to show our love for one another. (Check out the Crafts page to see what I have planned for Rob. And if you know him, you better not say a word to him!!)
To celebrate Rob being done with school, he said we're going out to dinner Friday night! I'm hoping for some Mexican food! Mama Cita's, possibly... It'll be such a relief for him to be done. I know these past 7 months or so have been really stressful for him. I'm sure he is beyond ready to be done.
Saturday, we're celebrating again. Some of his classmates and their families are joining us at Incredible Pizza before they actually graduate next week. I'm making a cake and cupcakes to take with us. I am so proud of all of them. And it'll be so nice to see everyone before most of them leave for their next duty station.
After celebrating, Rob and I are going to the rodeo!!! I figured since we were in Texas, now was the best time to go to a rodeo. And what band are we gonna see while at the rodeo? Lady Antebellum!!! Throughout our entire relationship, their songs have been our songs. First, it was Need You Now. Then, for our wedding, we danced to Just a Kiss. I am so excited to see them with him.
As for today, I'm sitting on my butt and watching TV. Tonight when he gets home, I'll help him study for his Scope to Scope he has on Thursday. And I might be planning stuff for his birthday in March ;)
Have a good day!!!
